Our Journey

The Emirates Nursing Association (ENA) is a nonprofit organization which was founded on 22nd January 2003 under the statement number (65) by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the United Arab Emirates. It was established and exists exclusively to strengthen the nursing profession in the United Arab Emirates.

ENA has been a member with International Nursing Council (ICN) since May 2005. The Association started with a few members, but now there are more than 6000 nurses in the UAE that have joined the ENA.

Our Mission

To promote the status of nursing profession and empower nurses in UAE to engage actively as transformational leaders and part of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team in improving health outcomes and wellbeing of UAE community, accelerating progress towards UAE 2071 Centennial, Universal Health Coverage and Sustainable Development Goals, and enhancing national, regional and international partnership and collaboration.
