UAE Nursing leaders and as Emirates Nursing Association board contributed in different panel of discussion and paper presentation to illustrate UAE experience in the 1st International Nursing and Midwifery Congress entitled “Transformative Nursing and Midwifery: Leading Innovation and Advancing Practice Towards Better Healthcare”, organized by Ministry of Defense in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia-KSA, which took place on 26th - 28th of February, 2023, at Riyadh capital. This Congress brought together relevant and diverse experts, nurse leaders, professors and clinicians from around the world to share their knowledge and experience on the latest developments in the nursing field. It encompasses of workshops, presentations and panel of discussions that provided valuable insights and practical tools for improving patient care. The workshops enclosed; advanced nursing practice, policy making and Influencing a change, creating culture of Civility in nursing, nursing education, nursing leadership and management, nursing excellence, military nursing, quality management; patient safety experience, midwifery and women health nursing and professional development. This pointed to provide updates and deliver experts insight on the impact on the incivility on the patients, nurses, and organizations and provide the participants with updated knowledge about attitudes, behaviors and skills that help promote and implements civility within organizations and to have well workforce planning strategies which will help in leading transformation in the nursing profession toward the country’s vision 2023.
